Island Breath 的靈感，來自台灣島嶼的氣候，以及高海拔霧林的清晨。

特別取材於宜蘭棲蘭，一處雲霧長年盤旋、森林與天空界線模糊的原始山林。

這是一口屬於島嶼霧林的呼吸。

清晨，霧氣尚未散去，松針與草地仍帶著水氣。

空氣在流動，森林卻靜止。

香氣從松針葉、草地與霧氣展開。
冷冽的針葉樹脂感，交織濕潤青草與稀薄水霧，呈現高山步道初入時的清涼、透明與距離感。
不是強烈的清新，而是被霧氣稀釋後的靜謐空氣。

中段逐漸走入霧林深處。
蕨葉的野性綠意、白玉蘭葉的乾淨葉感，與百合帶來的冷白花香彼此平衡，讓森林在霧中顯得層次分明，卻依然保持輕盈與空間感。

隨著香氣沉降，
台灣檜木、台灣香杉與台灣龍柏構築出山林的木質氣息，皮革帶來低調的人文溫度，
檀香與澳洲佛陀木則柔化整體線條，留下一片霧氣散去後的森林空氣。
清冷、悠長、寂靜、歲月靜好。

This work draws inspiration from Taiwan’s high-elevation mist forests, particularly the clouded terrain of Qilan, where winter mornings blur the boundary between earth and sky. The intention was to evoke the suspended quiet of this landscape—the way fog softens distance, lifts upward, and renders the forest both present and slightly unreal.

The composition focuses on native woods. Taiwan Red Cypress, Hinoki, and Incense Cedar form a vertical structure, chosen for their clean, linear volatility and the cool brightness they release along the evaporation curve. These materials rise with the clarity of tall trunks draped in moss, carrying a gentle greenness that echoes the humid air of the trail.

The aim was to create an immersive impression of the island through its forests: cool, verdant, and momentarily unbound by time.
